Insurance Policies

If you are filing policies on your own

Contact the agents of all insurance companies as soon as possible. Agents will supply the necessary claim forms. If you do not know the agent, our office staff may be able to assist. All companies require the policy to be turned in (when its whereabouts are known) with the claim along with a certified copy of the death certificate. A receipt should be given to you for the policy.

All policies should be closely examined with the agent, including lapsed policies to check for extended coverage.
