There are few service elements that lend a special touch to a committal service more than concluding with "Amazing Grace."

Jon Shell, our first choice in pipers, has won major individual piping competitions across the United States and Canada, including the Champion of Champions in 1979 and 1980 for the Eastern United States.  He played for two World's Fairs and for numerous occasions including the 100th Anniversary of Biltmore House and Gardens.

Jon has opened a concert for the likes of Rod Stewart, has played for numerous weddings and golf tournaments, and entertained such celebrities as Michael Jordan, Pat Boone, and Bob Hope. He was mentioned in the Wall Street Journal as a "virtuoso piper" in 2004.

Jon is available anytime during the summer months and most weekends, with some weekdays throughout the year.  Jon also has students who are quite competent to play memorial services. Fees are generally around $150 for a piper to play a memorial service.
