Kibbi the Therapy Dog

Kibbi the therapy dog

Therapy dogs provide affection and comfort to those who are grieving the loss of a loved one. These specially trained canines are gentle, patient, and friendly; they like to be petted, and they love human contact. Interacting with a dog can lower your stress level, and children especially often like to hug and touch a soft animal.

Kibbi is the therapy dog at Morris-Baker. Since 2011, she has also been using her therapy dog certification to bring comfort to young patients and their families at the Niswonger Children’s Hospital.

If you’d like for Kibbi to be present with you at Morris-Baker, please let us know in advance so we can be sure she is here to meet you.
