Although not licenced funeral directors, these members of our staff are vitally important toward the operation of our firm.  These individuals make it possible for us to professionally coordinate funerals with the quality of service our community has come to expect from us.

He is a graduate of Carson-Newman College in Jefferson City, Tennessee and the Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, North Carolina. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Religion and a Master of Divinity degree. He served as a full time minister for approximately 20 years before coming to the funeral service industry. He is a member of Central Baptist Church of Johnson City. He is married to the former Brenda Sandifer of Bamberg, South Carolina and they are the parents of three boys, Ryan, Chris, and Adam.

Robert "Bob" Edmonds, Aftercare Coordinator Office Phone: (423) 282-1521 Fax: (423) 282-4061 Mobile Phone: (423) 202-1578 Bob Edmonds, a retired minister with more than forty-five years of pastoral experience, works with Morris-Baker assisting families through the time of transition following a death. He delivers grief information and funeral items, hosts our fellowship events for those who have lost their spouse, and finds the answer to any questions that may linger following a service.

James D. Nave, Funeral Assistant Office Phone: (423) 282-1521 Fax: (423) 282-4061 Jim is a native of Johnson City and a graduate of Jonesborough High School.  He and his wife, Linda Nave, have been married over thirty-five years and have two children, Natalie and Mark, and two grandsons.  Jim has been involved with local sports programs throughout  the years.   Many people fondly remember Jim from his days an manager of the Biff Burger Drive-In and The Orange Bowl.  He has been a member of Skyline Heights Baptist Church since 1960, where he is an ordained deacon.
