Grief and the Holidays Seminar Series Starting November 1st

For some, the holidays—traditionally a time of celebration—can magnify a tragedy or loss.

If you know someone whom this describes, please tell them to join one or all of our “Grief and the Holidays” seminars:

—Thursday, November 1st:
“Holidays: Good and Bad”

—Thursday, November 8th:
“Planning for the Holidays”

—Thursday, November 15th:
“The Healing Power of Rituals and Remembrances”

Two sessions are available for each date:
11:30 am – 1:00 pm (Soup & Sandwich Lunch Provided to Registrants)
—or—
6:30 – 7:30 pm (Snacks Provided)

These sessions are primarily for community members who have experienced a recent loss. (They are not intended as professional development seminars.)

Michael Lester, Board Certified Grief Counselor, will lead these FREE sessions which are open to the entire community.

All sessions will be held at the Morris-Baker Funeral Home Hospitality Center, 2001 E. Oakland Avenue, Johnson City, TN.
