Morris-Baker’s Fall Seminar a Success

Grief expert Dr. Jason Troyer recently came to Johnson City for Morris-Baker’s fall seminar. Dr. Troyer gave a two-part program for professionals who wished to expand and deepen their skills for working with the bereaved.

In the first session, Balanced Grieving, Dr. Troyer shared the necessary tools to help the bereaved become unstuck and find balance. During the second session, It’s Complicated: Men’s Grief, Dr. Troyer examined the specific challenges that bereaved men experience and provided strategies for how professionals could help them.

We had a great turnout at the Millenium Centre, and these are some of the comments our attendees made about the seminar:

“The speaker was excellent. His teaching style was humble yet humorous and the content was very relevant to my practice.”

“Very good information.”

“The content was great!”

We want to thank Dr. Jason Troyer for sharing his expertise, and a special thank you to all of our attendees for the work that they do in our community to help people who are experiencing grief.
