Gladys Louise Nave, 89, Johnson City, passed away Friday, September 6, 2019, surrounded by her loved ones.

Gladys was born in Johnson City to the late Joseph and Frances Nelson Scarborough.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Fred Nave; one son, Arthur Nave; two sisters, Hattie McNealy and Mary Nelson; and two brothers, David and Ed Scarborough.

Survivors include: her loving son, Leonard Nave and his wife Debbie Wilson; grandson, Steve Wilson and his wife Tracy; great grandchildren, Morgan, Shae, Brooklyn and Chandler; grand fur baby, Miss Prissy; and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Avalon Hospice and her Primary Care Physician, Dr. William cleaver and his staff, for their care.

A funeral service will be held from 2 PM until 4 PM on Saturday, September 14, 2019, at the Upper Room Family Worship Center, 2220 Midway St., Johnson City, TN 37601. A committal service will be held at 10:45 AM on Monday, September 16, 2019 at Mountain Home National Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to gather at the cemetery by 10:35 AM.

The family would like to request that no flowers be sent for the services.
