Debbie, Joy, Bo, and Pat: We are sorry for the loss of your dad..It’s hard to find the words to say to make you feel better, but each of you know how much everyone thought of him. He was such a comfort to us and mom when my dad was taken. We wish we could be with you, but circumstance prevent us from coming. The peace I leave with you is that he is now in the pressence of the Lord, his mom and dad, and waiting for us to join him. We love you and will keep you in our prayers…Steve & Carol Schell

I had the wonderful priviledge of taking care of Mr. Daniels for several weeks when he was in JCMC. What a very special man he was and he always made me smile. He was concerned for all the nursing staff as much as we cared for him. One night as I stopped by his room to say goodnight, he said if I don’t see you in the morning, I will see you in heaven.

My sweet Dad has been gone from our family for almost a year. The pain is difficult to describe. It’s a half-empty life; just an existence. I’ve always known it would be terrible to lose him; I certainly was correct. Totally surreal at times and unable to comprehend not talking or seeing him anymore.I am still ‘Strawberry’s daughter’ when I meet people- and so very proud of this fact. What a lovely, caring, and terribly witty man he is and I look so forward to being with him again. Until then, I will continue to talk with you, Dad and keep you close to my heart. Of course, my life will never be the same. I love and miss you as much as ever- and always will, Dad, Joy
