Dale and I (as well as my twin brother) shared the same birthday. The last time we spoke was to observe our 50th. Dale was a fine person and will be missed. He was on the X-ray when my wife had bile duct surgery (?) and made the procedure and process go much more smoothly. We used to play a lot of basketball, etc. before I went away to finish high school, be we managed to get together several times while he and Sandy still lived in Johnson County.

Dear Sandy, Ashley & Andrew, We were so saddened to see Dale’s wonderful smile and twinkling eyes on the Johnson City Press web site this morning. Out thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time and always. Dale was a great person and we so value our friendship with him, and you Sandy, over the years. Though time and distance has separated us we think often of those great times in Mountain City and later the greater Tri Cities! Those were great times. It was also an honor to have been professionally associated with Dale, and you Sandy. He was a true healthcare professional who had that unique ability to make patients at ease while he produced those images. He made technical human, that’s not something everyone can do. He will be missed in many ways. Love, Ann & Dan Blevins
