Larry Ronald “Ronnie” Harper, 63, of Johnson City died Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at the Johnson City Medical Center. He was a native of Bristol, son of the late Donald R. and Julia Louise Johnson Harper.

Ronny was a safety manager for BAE and TEC in the construction industry.

He was of the Methodist faith.

Survivors include: his wife, Norma Frazier of the home, a sister and brother-in-law, Joyce and Mike Snodgress of Bristol, his mother and father-in-law, John and Donna Frazier of Johnson City; a sister-in-law and her husband, Laura and Joel Walker of Gray and two nephews.

The family is scheduled to receive friends on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Morris-Baker Funeral Home at 11:00 am until 1:00 pm. Ronny is to be cremated at a later date.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Washington County Johnson City Animal Center, 3811 N. Roan St., Johnson City, TN 37604.

    I was so sorry to hear about Ronny. I worked with him for many years at Eastman and was currently on the same job with him at BAE. I always respected Ronny . My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

    Those of us that worked with and knew Ronny are saddened by his sudden passing. he was a co worker and a friend for many years that will be missed.

    Many of Ronny’s high school classmates have been saddened by the news of his passing. Ronny was an all around great guy, great athlete and a good friend to many in our high school days. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. I know he will be missed.
