Lylie Tatum Budd

Lylie Tatum Budd went to be with Jesus amid the snow, the breeze, and the stars on Monday December 13, 2010. Lylie was born on Friday October 29, 2010 at 4:12 a.m. in Asheville, NC. She is a special gift that will forever be in the hearts of her family and all of those she touched during her brief time on earth. Lylie is survived by her parents Garnet John Budd III and Cynthia Nicole Slack of Asheville, NC. Lylie is a testimony to her parent's love and devotion. In addition to her parents, Lylie brought great joy and love to her grandparents, Tim and Laura Hodge of Johnson City, TN, John Budd, of Johnson City, TN, Greg and Phyllis Slack of Knoxville, TN, uncles, Andrew Hodge and Greg Slack, Jr., great grandparents, great aunts & uncles, great great aunts & uncles, and many more loving family members and special friends. A celebration of Lylie's life will be held Friday December 17, 2010, at Boones Creek Christian Church in Gray, TN. Visitation will be 12:00 noon until 1:00 p.m. and the celebration service will follow. Dick Morris, Jr., family friend and Associate Minister of Boones Creek Christian Church officiating. G.J. and Cindy would like any memorial contributions be made in Lylie Tatum Budd's honor to the Ronald McDonald House, 419 S. Hawthorne Rd. Winston-Salem, NC 27103 or 1705 W.     My name is Tammy Moore, I have worked for Erma and Dwayne for many years. Never met u GJ, but heard alot about u. I know your dad and he”s a great person. I wanted to say how very, very Sorry I am for the loss of you daughter. I know what you and her mother went through as I had a 26 week premie child myself and he weighed 1 pound and 13 ounces, I feel for you, and all you went through.
