Thoughts & prayers for family and friends.

  2. Tony Hixson says:

Mildred was one of the most loving and gracious ladies I have ever known. For years she
took my mother, Minnie Hixson to church every sunday, and was always willing to lend a hand.
    Prayers to her extended family.

  3. Theresa McFarland Vance says:

    Dear Tammy and family,

I am so very sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. She was such a dear lady. We all have lost touch over the years, but I always will have a special place in my heart for your mother and for all the Laws, Duncan and Caldwell families.
When we worked together at Belk’s she and Linda were like surrogate mothers to me. Always there to lend an help or give advice. She had one of the kindest hearts I have ever known. She was beautiful inside and out.
Prayers for all of you for comfort of special memories and the peace that only comes from knowing the Lord.

    Love you guys,

  4. Beulah Lane says:

I’m sad on learning of the death of Mildred. When I think of a gracious Christian lady, she comes to my mind. She and her sister(another grand lady) Margaret Caldwell came to our home to invite us to church and was my Christian mentors in those early years. I will pray for her family.
