Adam Graham Bowman, 40, of Johnson City died Saturday, July 2, 2005 after a brief illness. Mr. Bowman was born November 3, 1964 in Fairfax County, VA. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn, 3 children, Jesse Graham Bowman, Adam Broyles Bowman, both of Johnson City, and Katherine Renee Bowman of Indiana; 4 step children, Eugene, Jess and Emily Ezell and Clarence Wagner of Johnson City. Mr. Bowman is survived by his mother, Zeph McLeod Bowman, of Johnson City. He is also survived by two brothers, Jimmy Howard of Manassas, VA and Darrell Chapman of Winchester, VA. Hearing impaired since birth, Mr. Bowman had a wide circle of friends among the deaf community. He attended Pennsylvania School for the Deaf, St. Rita?s School for the Deaf in Cincinnati, OH and Science Hill High School where he was active in ROTC. A memorial service to celebrate Mr. Bowman?s life will be held at the Morris Baker Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 5 at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Memorials may be made to The Community Center For The Deaf & Hard of Hearing, 112 E. Myrtle Avenue, Johnson City, TN 37601.
