Adeline Conley

Adeline 'Maisie'? Conley, 85, of Johnson City, passed away on Monday, December 5, 2011 at the Johnson City Medical Center. She was a native of St. Paul, VA and a daughter of the late Manie A. Smith and Alpha Kerr Smith. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John J. Conley, Sr. in 1997. Also preceding her were two sisters, Loraine Campbell and Mayrone Kiser. Mrs. Conley was a member of the Tacoma Church of God where she was a member of the Crusaders Sunday School Class.She was a retired employee of Mason and Dixon Lines in Kingsport and was a wartime employee of Bell Aircraft in Marietta, GA.Survivors include; two sons, Fred Conley and his wife Marty and John J. Conley, Jr. and his wife Janet all of Johnson City; two sisters, Linda Sue Critzer of Crozet, VA and Georganne Grizzle of Roanoke, VA; one Granddaughter, Jordan Conley Lyall and her husband A.J. of Jonesborough; several nieces and nephews and several Great nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm Thursday, December 8, 2011 from the Morris-Baker South Chapel. Rev. Bill Konstantopoulos and Pastor Rick Ballard will officiate. Burial will follow in the Monte Vista Memorial Park. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 until 2:00 pm on Thursday.
