Albert Randolph Hancock

Albert Randolph 'Randy' Hancock, 89, of Johnson City died Friday, January 12, 2007 in the Johnson City Medical Center. Mr. Hancock was a native of Baltimore, Maryland and had lived in Johnson City since 1994. He was a son of the late Albert Randolph Hancock, Sr. and Nellie Mitchell Hancock. Mr. Hancock was a retired owner-operator of the Wolverine Trucking Company. He was an Army veteran of WW II and a member of the Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church. He is preceded in death by: his parents; and a brother, William C. 'Bill' Hancock. Survivors include: his wife, Lorna Ellen Johnston Hancock of the home; two sons, Wayne R. Hancock of JohnsonCity and Jerry L. Hancock of Florida; one daughter, Nancy Ellen Michelsen of Lake-in-the-Hills, Illinois; eight grandchildren, Michelle Hancock, Julia Hancock, Scott Hancock, Dr. Carl Barkley Hancock, Cheryl Lynn Thomas, Rosemary Ann Hancock, Kimberly Dawn Rumley, and Charles Wilson; several nieces and nephews also survive. A Memorial Service for Mr. Hancock will be conducted at a later date.
