Alice Barnett

Arlene Royston Barnett, 68, 2018 Indian Ridge Road, died Saturday, February 11, 2006 at the Johnson City Medical Center. Mrs. Barnett was a native and lifelong resident of Washington County. She was a daughter of the late Arlie and Inez Willis Royston and was also preceded in death by one sister, Mary Ann Neal. Before retirement, Mrs. Barnett was employed by Parks Belk as an office manager for over twenty-five years. She had attended Snow Memorial Baptist Church. Mrs. Barnett is survived by her husband, John 'J.C.' Barnett: one daughter, Sheree Helton and her husband, Ronnie, Johnson City; one granddaughter, Taylor France, Johnson City; one brother, Ray Royston, Knoxville and one sister, Edna Williams, Leesburg, VA and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service for Mrs. Barnett will be conducted at 8 PM Wednesday, February 15, 2006 from the Morris-Baker Funeral Home South Chapel. Reverend David Humphreys will officiate. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 PM until service time at the funeral home.
