On Wednesday, December 20, 2017, Anna Mullins, wife, daughter and sister, passed away after battle with cancer at the age of 90. Anna of Johnson City, will be lovingly remembered by her granddaughters Deborah Plale (Mullins), Ruth Mineer (Mullins), Lisa Mineer (Mullins), and her very special friend Dianna Carroll. Anna will also be remembered by several for her faith and generosity. Anna was born in a small town outside of Knoxville, Tennessee named Strawberry Plains. She moved to Johnson City to take care of her father, Earnest Pratt. Anna married Ted Mullins in 1974. Preceding her in death are her husband, Ted Mullins, her father, Earnest Pratt, her mother, Gertie Pratt (Bales), her sister, Hazel Pratt, grandfather, Wilkerson Pratt, grandmother, Sarah Pratt, grandfather, Harvey Bales and grandmother, Emma Bales. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at Morris-Baker Funeral Home from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. A funeral service will follow in the Dogwood Chapel at 8:00 pm under the direction of Rev. Paul Crowe with music provided by Buford Quillen. A committal service will be conducted on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Mountain Home National Cemetery at 10:45 am. Active pallbearers will be: Sean Plale, Carl Parmenter, Daniel Wippich, Les Allen, and Michael O?Brien. Honorary pallbearers will be: Phillip Plale and Linda Surcey. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the cemetery by 10:35 am. The family wishes to offer special thanks to Mountain States Hospice and all her caregivers.
