Barbara Rhea Story

Barbara Rhea Story, age 78, of Johnson City, Tennessee died Saturday, April 25, 2020 at Lakebridge Health Care Center in Johnson City.

Barbara was born on September 13, 1941 to Melvin and Marie Little Story in Johnson City. She graduated from ETSU with a teaching degree. Barbara relocated to Rocky Mount, North Carolina where she taught health, physical education, and science at Rocky Mount Middle School for around 40 years. One of Barbara’s favorite things in life were cats, she loved her cats.

Barbara was a member of First Christian Church in Johnson City.

She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by many cousins.

There will be a private graveside service at Monte Vista Memorial Park.
