Barry O'Brien

Barry Michael OBrien, 53, 181 Newt Wheelock Road, Jonesborough, died Thursday, December 13, 2007 in the Johnson City Medical Center. Mr. OBrien was a native of Long Island, NY who had lived most of his life in Johnson City. He is the husband of Debbie OBrien. He is the son of Robert and Rosemary McGurn OBrien. Two brothers, Chip and Dennis OBrien, preceded him in death. Mr. OBrien was a wood craftsman and a computer analyst. Survivors include: his wife, Debbie OBrien; two stepsons, Erin McDevitt, of Charlotte, NC and Jeremy McDevitt, of Chardon, Ohio; three brothers, Kevin OBrien, of Doylestown, Pennsylvania, Gerald OBrien, of Jacksonville, Florida and Michael OBrien, of Doylestown, Pennsylvania; three sisters, Maureen OBrien, of Providence, Road Island, Susan Papada, of Wynnewood, Pennsylvania and Kathleen Cirillo, of Kinnelon, New Jersey. Mr. OBrien wishes were to be cremated. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ETSU Cancer Center in Johnson City, Tn.
