Betty O. Hensley

Betty Ramey Hensley, 76, 511 Dru Lane, died Monday, March 28, 2005 at the Johnson City Medical Center. Mrs. Hensley was a native of Keokee, VA and had lived most of her life in Johnson City. She was a daughter of the late Foy and Pearl Newton Ramey. Mrs. Hensley was retired from Mor Flo in 1990. She attended Keystone Free Will Baptist Church. Mrs. Hensley is survived by two sisters, Faye Chase and her husband, Charles, Johnson City and Sue Ferguson and her husband, George, Johnson City; two brothers, Bill Ramey, Johnson City and Paul Ramey, Stone Mountain, GA and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. A graveside funeral service for Mrs. Betty Ramey Hensley will be held at 2 PM Friday, April 1, 2005 at the Washington County Memory Gardens Mausoleum Chapel. Pastor Bill Greer will officiate. Pallbearers will be Charles Chase, Michael Chase, Jarrod Ramey, Bobby Fulwiler, Clarence Taylor and Phillip Taylor. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the cemetery at 1:45 PM. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Thursday at the funeral home
