Bill Hensley

Bill Hensley, 70, 617 Austin Springs Road, Piney Flats, died Monday, December 18, 2006 at the Johnson City Medical Center. Mr. Hensley was a Knoxville, TN native and had lived in Piney Flats most of his life. He was a son of the late Henry and Luevina Hensley. Mr. Hensley was a former employee of TPI and was a retired Security Guard for Appalachian Christian Village. He was a Baptist. Mr. Hensley leaves one daughter, Regina Stewart, Elizabethton; two sisters, Diane S. Rogers, Piney Flats and Beulah Fullenkamp and her husband, Ron, Knoxville, five grandchildren; a very special friend, Edda Vandermolen, Johnson City; two step brothers, Robert Byrd, Dayton, Ohio and James Byrd, Lenoir, NC; one step sister, Mary Ellen Marshall, FL; one aunt, Betty Jo Minton, Johnson City and one uncle, Earl Hensley and his wife, Sue, Church Hill and a special niece, Renee? Lowe and her husband, Terry, Gray. A funeral service for Mr. Hensley will be conducted at 2 PM Wednesday, December 20, 2006 from the Morris-Baker Funeral Home North Chapel. Reverend Kenneth Kyker will officiate. Graveside services will follow in New Bethel Cemetery, Piney Flats. Pallbearers will be selected from friends. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
