Billy Jack Groseclose, Ii

Billy Jack Groseclose II, 63, of Piney Flats, Tennessee, died on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at the Johnson City Medical Center.

Billy was born in Abingdon, Virginia, to Billy Jack Groseclose and Eleanor Clark Groseclose. He graduated from Tennessee High School in Bristol in 1977.

Billy was an outside sales representative for Fleetpride for 29 years.

Billy loved the outdoors, including camping and going to the lake. In his younger years he also enjoyed riding his motorcycle.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 32 years, Charlotte Humphreys Groseclose; mother, Eleanor Groseclose; sister, Bobbi Jo Groseclose; three nephews, Eric (Melissa) Humphrey, Jason (Kim) Humphrey, and Chad (Kate) McConnell; twin great-nephews, Eli and Sawyer Humphrey; two brothers-in-law, Aaron Humphrey and Gaithor (Geneva) Humphrey; sister-in-law, Elizabeth (Michael) McConnell. He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Jack Groseclose.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 19, 2022, from 1:00-3:00 pm at Morris-Baker Funeral Home. A graveside service will be conducted the following day, Sunday, November 20, at 2:00 pm, at Shell Cemetery in Piney Flats, under the direction of Minister Eddy Craft. Pallbearers will be selected from friends and family. Those wishing to attend are asked to please meet at the cemetery by 1:50 pm.
