Billy Joe Bennett

Billy Joe Bennett, 78, of Gray, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, January 28, 2023.

Bill was born to his loving parents Charles and Ora Louise Greene Bennett in 1944.

He attended Science Hill High School and served his country proudly in the Army National Guard. Bill was the owner and operator of “THINGS” in Elizabethton until he retired in 2009.

Along with his parents, those preceding him in death include: infant daughter, Hayley Bennett; brother, Robert Bennett; and sister, Carolyn Schafer.

Those remaining to cherish his memory are: his loving wife of 35 years, Pamela Cole Bennett; daughter, Nicole (Drew) Davenport; sister, Patricia “Toots” White; life-long friends, Bill and Karen Greer; Jarvis Bennett; Jessica Dunn; Shaun Bennett; and several nieces and nephews.

There are no public services scheduled for Bill at this time.
