Bobby Steven Greer

Bobby Steven Greer, 55, 1004 Grover Street, died Sunday, July 27, 2008 from injuries sustained in an accident. Bobby was a native and lifelong resident of Washington County. He was a son of the late Joe and Lola Callahan Greer and was also preceded in death by one sister, Connie Buckner. Bobby was an employee of Omni Source, formerly Johnson City Iron and Metal. He attended True Gospel Baptist Church. Bobby leaves his wife, Sandy Arwood Greer, daughter, Tina Church, and her husband, Kenneth, Hampton, grandson, Timmy Church; daughter Lorie Birchette, Elizabethton, granddaughter, Brittany Birchette; son, Jeff Trivett and his wife, Brandi, Elizabethton, granddaughter, Arneta Trivett; son Jonathan Scherrill, Johnson City; brothers, Charlie Greer and Joe Greer; sisters, Debra Wilson and Penny and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service for Bobby Steven Greer will be conducted at 2 pm Wednesday, July 30, 2008 from the Morris-Baker Funeral Home South Chapel. Reverend Dean Presnell will officiate. Graveside services will follow at Monte Vista Memorial Park. Family members, Jeff Trivett, Jonathan Scherrill, Kenneth Church and Jim Potter and friends will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
