Bonnie Pilkington

Bonnie Davis Pilkington, 1328 Baxter Street, died Tuesday, October 18, 2005 at her residence. Mrs. Pilkington was a Greene County native and lived most of her life in Johnson City. She was a daughter of the late Eli and Sarah Gray Davis and was also preceded in death by her husband, Stuart W. Pilkington. Mrs. Pilkington was a homemaker. She was a member of Unaka Avenue Baptist Church where she was a member of the WMU and the Bible Study Group. Mrs. Pilkington is survived by two daughters, Janice C. Pilkington and Delores Mascola both of Johnson City; grandson, Stuart Donald Mascola, Gray, granddaughter, Stephanie Mascola Freeman and her husband, Mark Steven Freeman, Atlanta, GA, grandson, Stephen Samuel Mascola and his wife, Rachel, Johnson City, great grandchildren, Crystal Mascola Schaedel and her husband, Jamie, Memphis and Bryan Donald Mascola, Chattanooga and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service for Mrs. Pilkington will be conducted at 8 PM Thursday, October 20, 2005 from the Morris-Baker Funeral Home South Chapel. Reverend Mike Tyson will officiate. Music will be provided by her granddaughter, Stephanie M. Freeman, Janice Stone and Mary Lambert. Graveside services will be held at 10 Am Friday, October 21, 2005 at Monte Vista Memorial Park. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the funeral home at 9:30 AM and travel in procession to the cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Stuart Donald Mascola, Mark Steven Freeman, Stephen Samuel Mascola, Jamie Schaedel, Bryan Donald Mascola. Jerry Boyer, Buford Stone and Daniel Jackson. Honorary pallbearers will be Todd Stone, Tim Stone, Raymond Boyer, Verlon Henson, Delmas Dugger, Guy Buck, Robert Tesneary and Jerry Lambert. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
