Callie Sharp

Callie Sharp, age 98, Johnson City, passed away Friday, January 18, 2019, at Johnson City Medical Center. Callie was born in Harlan, KY to the late Nathan and Birdie Mildred Turner. Callie was a secretary for the Tennessee Department of Human Services and attended Unaka Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Callie was preceded in death by: her husband, Lawrence Sharp; a daughter, Lana Gouge; one grandson, Rikki Crain; and two sisters, Annice Steely and Janice Westbrook. Survivors include: one granddaughter, Pam Wilson, of Johnson City; one great-great-grandson, Carter Felts and his parents, Cara Centers and great-grandson, Scott Felts, of Johnson City; and a brother-in-law, John Westbrook, of Baton Rouge, LA. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Cindi, Ginger, and Nancy. A funeral service for Callie will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, January 21, 2019 in the Morris-Baker Funeral Home Oak Chapel with Pastor Todd Adams officiating.
