Carolyn Martin

Ms. Carolyn Martin, age 90, of Johnson City, passed away, Thursday, March 8, 2012 at the Asbury Place, Johnson City. Ms. Martin was a native of Richmond, Virginia who had lived most of her life in Johnson City. She was the daughter of the late Walter Taylor Martin and Lucille Carter Martin. Ms. Martin was a clerk for the Washington County Tax Office. She was a member of the Munsey Memorial United Methodist Church and also a member of the United Methodist Women and Fellowship Sunday School Class. Survivors include: one sister, Sarah Walrath and her husband Robert of Hendersonville, North Carolina; four nieces; special friends, Kitty Alexander Pickle and Sue Dulaney. A graveside committal service for Ms. Carolyn Martin will be conducted at 3 PM Saturday, March 10, 2012 in the Monte Vista Memorial Park. Rev. Michael Lester will officiate. Minister, family and friends are requested to meet at the cemetery by 2:50 PM Saturday. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent to Munsey Memorial United Methodist Church, 201 E.
