Carrie L. Woodby

Carrie L. Woodby, 80, of 132 Wichita Street, Johnson City died Tuesday, December 5, 2006 at the Northside Hospital following an illness. She was a native and lifelong resident of Johnson City, daughter of the late Henry M. and Edna South Price. Carrie was a homemaker and of the Pentacostal faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Johnny E. Woodby. Survivors include: her step-daughter and caretaker, Wanda Riddle of Johnson City; a son, Ernest Randolph of Greeneville; two step-sons, Johnny Woodby of Jonesborough and Ronnie Woodby of Stoney Creek; a daughter, Linda Nadon of Detroit, MI; two sisters, Dallas Price and Mary Arnold both of Johnson City; eight grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and a great great grandchild; several nieces and nephews. A funeral service is scheduled for Friday, December 8, 2006 at 8:00 p.m. in the North Chapel of the Morris - Baker Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until time of service at eight. Visitation at other times at 1221 Lowell Street, Johnson City. A committal service will be conducted on Saturday, December 9, 2006 at the Washington County Memory Gardens at 10:00 a.m. Active pallbearers will be: Johnny R. Woodby, Sr., Johnny R. Woodby, Jr., Danny Joe Woodby, Henry L. Riddle and Ronnie Joe Woodby. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the funeral home to leave in procession by 9:20 a.m.
