Charles Harvey Conley

Charles Harvey Conley, 78, of Gray, TN, passed away Thursday, June 30, 2016, in the Johnson City Medical Center. Charles was a son of the late Charles Harvey Conley, Sr. and Nell Howard Bradley. He graduated from Science Hill High School. Charlie worked for Flav-O-Rich for 42 years. He enjoyed watching Tennessee Vols Football and NASCAR racing. He loved taking his camper and camping with his wife, Janette. He also enjoyed getting on the lawn mower and mowing the yard. Charlie never met a stranger and always had a good story to tell. He attended Colonial Heights Baptist Church and was a member of the Sinking Creek Masonic Lodge #575, Gray, TN. Charlie is survived by his loving wife, Janette Oliver Conley; two sons and one daughter-in-law; special niece, Jana Wilson and her husband Lee; great nieces, Cassie Wilson and Jaymee Gouge; and great nephew, Joshua Wilson, all of Gray. Several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive him. A graveside committal service will be conducted at 2:00 pm Sunday, July 3, 2016, in the Monte Vista Memorial Park. Mr. Jerry Teague will officiate. Family, and friends are requested to meet at the cemetery by 1:50 pm Sunday for the service. The family wishes to extend a very special thank you to all of Charlie and Janette?s friends who visited and transported Charlie to his appointments over the past few months.
