Charles William Barlow

Charles William Barlow, 73, 352 Knob Creek Dock Road, died Tuesday, April 26, 2005 at Northside Hospital. Mr. Barlow was a native and lifelong resident of Washington County. He was a son of the late Charles Preston and Barbara Baker Barlow and was also preceded in death by one brother, Joe Barlow. Mr. Barlow was a US Army veteran. He was retired from General Mills. Mr. Barlow attended Cash Hollow Presbyterian Church. He is survived by his wife, Violet Blanche Barlow; two sons, Billy Barlow and his wife, Melinda, Johnson City and Mike Barlow, Johnson City; two daughters, Nancy Wise and her husband, Jerry, Johnson City and Tammy Blackburn and her husband, Andy, Jonesborough; six grandchildren, Angela Greenlee, Alan Casteel, Robbie Barlow, James Barlow, Luke Barlow and Amber Blackburn and two great grandchildren, Dillon Barlow and James Richardson. A funeral service for Mr. Barlow will be conducted at 8PM Thursday, April 28, 2005 from the Morris-Baker Funeral Home South Chapel. Mr. Andy Blackburn will officiate. Graveside services will be held at 11 AM Friday at Monte Vista Memorial Park. Family and friends are asked to assemble at 10:30 AM and travel in procession to the cemetery. Grandsons and his nephew will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Thursday at the funeral home
