Charlotte Sue Hodges

Charlotte Sue Hodges, 77, of Gray, passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2010 at the Johnson City Medical Center. She had lived in Gray all of her life and was a daughter of the late, Jack and Mae Hayden Nutter. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, David Orlin Hodges and by two sisters, Oneida Ford and Nadine Frady, two brothers, Ricky and Bill Nutter and by an infant son, David Chadwick Hodges. Mrs. Hodges was a member of the Crossroads Christian Church. She had worked at Eastman Kodak in her younger years and for ITT later in life. Survivors include; a son and daughter in law, Donald and Geri Hodges of Gray; a daughter and son in law, Cindy and Steve Douglas of Gray; four Grandchildren, Stephanie Poole, Luke Douglas, Kim McEwen and Tracy Burleson all of Gray; five Great Grandchildren, Elizabeth Poole Walker Burleson, Tyler, Cara and Carley McEwen; a sister, Tina Dice of Gray; three brothers and sisters in law, Clifton and Elaine Nutter, Bobby and Mary Nutter and Glenn 'Tom'? and Laura Nutter; a brother in law, Dave Frady of Kingsport and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00pm Saturday, October 30, 2010 from the Morris-Baker South Chapel. Minister Clint Andrews will officiate. Burial will follow in the Monte Vista Memorial Park. Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 2:00 pm on Saturday. Memorials may be made in the form of contributions to: Crossroads Christian Church Building Fund, 1300 Suncrest Dr., Gray, TN 37615.
