Christine ?Chris' Lynn Guy, 43, of Johnson City, passed away on Friday, August 3, 2018 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. She was a native of Johnson City, as well as a daughter to Loretta Dean Osborne Williams and the late Wesley Dean Williams. Chris was a graduate of ETSU with a Bachelors of Art. She worked as an Art Teacher at Grandview School. When she wasn?t teaching, she loved UT Football, Swimming, Motorcycle Rides, and being outdoors. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband, Daniel Guy, of the home; one brother, Craig Williams; In-Laws, Darrell and Rita Guy; Grandmother, Dare Bennett; Goddaughter, NiAysia Grace Elliot; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins; she especially loved her fur-babies, Brayzen, Yohnuh and Snoopy. The family would like to thank the staff of Johnson City Internal Medicine and University of Kentucky Medical Center for their kindness and excellent care. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude. The family of Chris Guy will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, August 8, 2018, at Morris-Baker Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 8:00 PM, officiated by Rev. Richard Sheppard, II. A committal will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 9, 2018, at Monte Vista Memorial Park. Shannon Haney, Shannon O?Dell, Shannon Cox, Ronnie Carr, Larry ?Skeet' Tolliver , Darrell Guy, Gareath Weston and Rocky Summie will serve as pallbearers. Family and friends are asked to gather at the cemetery by 10:45 AM Thursday. Memorials may be made in the form of contributions to: St. Jude Children?s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
