Curtis Lincoln Shew

Curtis L. Shew, 76, 340 Bayside Road, Palm Springs, died Thursday, December 21, 2006 in the JFK Medical Center in Atlantis, Florida. Mr. Shew was a native of Marion, Virgina. He was a son of the late Joseph Alson Shew and Maggie Alice York Shew. Mr. Shew worked in the construction field both in Johnson City and West Palm Beach, Florida from 1950 to 1993. He was a U.S. Army veteran. Mr. Shew was of the Methodist faith. Survivors include: his wife, Joy B. Shew, of the home; two daughters, Kathy Ellen Shew Lolmaugh and her husband Lewis, of Jupiter, Fl. and Judith Ann Shew Hudnall and her husband Thomas, of Flagstaff, Az.; two sons, Curtis L. Shew, Jr. and his wife Zanna, of Hendersonville, NC. and Scott Douglas Shew, of Sebastian, Florida ; one sister, Gwen Cole, of Thurmont, MD.; eight grandchildren, Michael Lolmaugh and his wife Melissa, of Jupiter, Fl., Kristen Lolmaugh Heard and her husband Tracy, of Jupiter, Fl., Joy Hudnall Almond and her husband Bryan, of Tucson Az., Chelsea and Caylie Shew, of Hendersonville, NC. and Rory and Dallas Shew, of Lake Worth, Fl.; four great grandchildren, Jacob Lolmaugh, Luke Lolmaugh, Kya Rae Heard, and Tracy Leigh Heard, all of Jupiter, Fl. A graveside service for Curtis L. Shew will be conducted at 12 noon Saturday December 30, 2006 in the Roselawn Memorial Park. Curtis Murray will officiate. The family will receive friends in the funeral home from 10 to 11 AM Saturday prior to the service. Active pallbearers will be nephews, Joe, Lloyd and Ben Shew, Roger Williams, Johnny Williams and Rocky Saylor.
