Cynthia Y. Kind

Cynthia 'Cindi'? Y. Kind, 55, of 307 Quail Drive, Johnson City, died Thursday, September 13, 2007 at the Johnson City Medical Center. She was a native of Camp Le Jeune, North Carolina, daughter of MGySgt. William R. and Earlean Lawson Kind. Cindi was a graduate of: Science Hill High School, Kennesaw State College of Marietta, GA. She was a restaurant manager. She loved family, friends and her dog, loved laughter, jokes and enjoyed her computer. She was a member of the Boones Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include: her parents, MGySgt. William R. and Earlean L. Kind of Johnson City; four brothers and three sisters-in-law, Rigby and Mimi Kind of Bristol, Randy and Deb Kind, Ron and Denise Kind and Rick Kind all of Johnson City; eight nieces, Kacy, Cami, Jaclyn, Caroline, Shelby, Maddie, Kyndal and Kelsey; three nephews, Brandon, Ryan and Palmer; a special nephew, Brad Rouse. A funeral service is scheduled for Sunday, September 16, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. in the south chapel of the Morris-Baker Funeral Home, under the direction of Rev. Kenneth Kyker. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at three. Special, organ music will be performed by Brad Rouse. A committal service will be conducted following in the mausoleum chapel of the Monte Vista Memorial Park. Entombment will follow. Honorary pallbearers will be the nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank: Dr. Jeff Farrow and Dr. John Dengler, the 5th floor staff of the Johnson City Medical Center and the home health caregivers through the years.
