Daniel L. Carney

Mr. Daniel L. Carney, age 49, of Johnson City, passed away Saturday, August 17, 2013, at his residence. Mr. Carney was a native of Indianapolis, Indiana. He was the son of the late Jerry Carney and Gloria Braun Carney . Mr. Carney was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He was an Electronics Technician for Denso. Survivors include his loving wife of twenty-five years, Brenda L. Carney; two sons, Nicholas Carney and Preston Carney; one sister, Lisa Roell; two brothers, Michael Carney and Joseph Carney. The funeral service for Mr. Daniel L. Carney will be conducted at 1 PM Tuesday, August 20, 2013, in the Morris-Baker South Chapel. Father Manuel Perez will officiate. The graveside committal service will follow in the Mountain Home National Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The Bristol VFW will accord military honors. The family will receive friends from 12 to 1 PM Tuesday prior to the service.
