Danny Webb Sharp

Danny 'Dan' Webb Sharp, age 49, Johnson City, died Saturday, January 14th at Johnson City Medical Center. He was a native and lifelong resident of Johnson City, the son of the late William Ray Sharp and Lillie Sharp Jones of Greeneville, Tennessee. Mr. Sharp held the position of Property Appraiser with the State of Tennessee. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church. Mr. Sharp is survived by his wife, Louann F. Sharp and his son, Danny W. Sharp II, both of Johnson City; his mother, Lillie Sharp Jones and his step-father, Hugh Allen Jones, both of Greeneville; a daughter, Anna Marie Sharp of Johnson City; step-brother, Harold Jones and his wife Betsy of South Port, North Carolina; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ernest and Margaret Foster, Johnson City; special aunt and uncle, Pat and Bill Brown; special uncle, Walter Sharp and his wife, Sula, step-niece, Jessica Eggerton and her husband Nathan of Greensboro, North Carolina; step-nephew, Damon Jones of Raleigh, North Carolina. Services for Mr. Sharp will be held Monday, at 2:00 PM at Southside Baptist Church with Rev. John Perkins officiating. The family will receive friends at Morris-Baker Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Sunday. Graveside services and burial will be at Monte Vista Memorial Park following services on Monday. Pallbearers will be Carman Clark, Jess Conway, Jim Weaver, Jerry Howard, Vincent Brooks and Danny W. Sharp II. Honorary pallbearers will be employees of Tennessee Division of Property Assessment. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Southside Baptist Church Building Fund, 1928 Wheeler Street, Johnson City, TN 37604.
