Danny Woods

Danny Woods, 49, of 400 N. Boone Street, Asbury Center, Johnson City, passed away, Thursday, June 14, 2007 in the Johnson City Medical Center. He was a native and lifelong Johnson City resident and a son of the late, James and Nelma Teague Woods. He was also preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Sam and Leona Woods and his maternal grandparents, Oscar and Laura Teague. He attended church at the Asbury Center. Survivors include; four sisters, Patsy Pugliski and her husband, Steve, Nancy Blair and her husband, Tom of Bluff City and Margie Moore and her husband, Richard and Debbie Phillips and her husband, Dewayne all of Johnson City; one brother, Sam Woods and his wife, Becky of Johnson City; two Uncles, Frank Woods of Jonesborough and Jimmy Teague of Blountville. Funeral services will be conducted at 8:00 PM Saturday, June 16, 2007 from the Morris-Baker South Chapel. Rev. Chris Hughes will officiate. Burial services will be conducted at 1:00 PM Sunday from the Monte Vista Memorial Park. Family and friends are asked to meet at the funeral home by 12:45 PM Sunday and proceed to the cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tony Blair, Kevin Blair, Brian Blair, Eric Woods, Mitch Hatley, Dewayne Phillips, Jerry Johnson, Jeff Johnson and Billy Thacker. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 until 8:00 PM Saturday.
