David Nash Martin

David Nash Martin, 74, died Monday, April 4, 2005 at the Veterans Affairs Nursing Home at Mt. Home, following an illness. Mr. Martin was a native of Washington County, son of the late James C and Lelia Wilkinson Martin, he had lived most of his life in Washington County. He was disabled, and had served in the U. S. Navy. He was of the Nazarene faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Ruth Smith and Naomi Ross, three brothers, Paul Martin, James Martin and Joseph Martin. Survivors include two sons, Edward David Martin and Michael Joe Martin, a brother and sister in law, John M. and Jewell C. Martin of Johnson City, a grandson and two granddaughters, Toney Steve Martin, Angela Louise Martin and Jaelyn Janeen Martin, three great grandsons, Joshua Allen Martin, Joey Allen Codgell and Samuel Glen Codgell, two great granddaughters, Tiffany Nichole Martin and Victoria Darleen Martin, several nieces and nephews. A graveside services is scheduled for Wednesday, April 6, 2005 at 2:30 p.m. in the Happy Valley Memorial Park under the direction of Rev. Charles 'Toonie' Cash. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p. m. at Morris - Baker Funeral Home, when the family and friends will go in procession to the cemetery.
