David Tabor

March 17, 1950 — February 10, 2020

David C. Tabor M.D., FACP, former professor of internal medicine and haemitology at Quillen College of Medicine and attending physician at Johnson City Medical Center and Cumberland County Medical Center. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, having served in the United States Army.

David died on Monday, February 10, 2020 at his home. He was a long-time resident of Gray, Tennessee and member of B’nai Sholom Congregation.

He was a graduate of Virginia Polytechnical Institute, Medical College of Virginia, and University of Virginia.

David is survived by two sons, Cohen Grant Tabor and Laven Rhett (and wife, Tamara) Tabor.

A graveside service will be held at B’nai Sholom Cemetery (2309 Bradley St) in Bristol, Virginia. Details are pending.
