Dewitt Alexander Hurst, Jr.
March 3, 1947 — June 25, 2021
DeWitt Alexander Hurst Jr., 74, of Elizabethton, passed away on Friday, June 25, 2021 at the Johnson City Medical Center.
He was a native of Rock Hill, South Carolina, and a son of the late DeWitt Sr. and Fredrica Duncan Hurst.
DeWitt was a proud U.S. Marine, serving his country in Vietnam. He will be rendered honors and laid to rest at the Mountain Home National Cemetery Annex, Lake Drive West, at 1:00 PM on Thursday, July 1, 2021. Friends and family are asked to gather at the cemetery by 12:50 PM to process to the committal shelter.
