Donna L. Martin

Heaven is sweeter with Mom there. Donna L. Martin, 68, 107 A.J. Willis Court, Jonesborough went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 13, 2007 in the Johnson City Medical Center. Ms. Martin was a native of Seco, Kentucky and had lived lifelong in Kentucky. She was a daughter of the late James and Mabel Messer Longworth. Ms. Martin was a retail manager at a Dollar General Store and was a member of the Princeton Free Will Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by: her parents; one sister, Delores Spangler; one son, Harold 'Martin' Longworth; a nephew, Danny Longworth; and a great nephew, Truman D. Adams. Survivors include: her husband, Daniel Martin of Isom, KY; three sons, Toney 'Martin' Longworth and wife Debbie, of Mayking, KY., Ricky Martin and wife Patricia, of Jonesborough, Daniel R. Martin and wife Frankie, of Isom, KY; one daughter, Millette Ikard and husband Dean, of Jonesborough; one daughter-in-law, Janet Longworth of Slyba, NC; one brother, Walter Longworth and wife Geneva, of Fairborn, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Misty Longworth, Christy Longworth, Michael White, Steven Martin, Leslie Thacker, Matthew Martin, and Malachi Longworth; four great grandchildren, LaDonna Longworth, Todd Jones, Danny Ratliff, Jr. and Isabella Thacker; a host of special nieces, nephews and friends to mourn her passing. A funeral service for Donna L. Martin will be conducted at 8 PM Sunday, January 14, 2007 in the Princeton Free Will Baptist Church. Rev. Randy English and Rev. Curtis Ponder will officiate. A funeral service and the interment will be in Whitesburg, Kentucky in the Green Acres Cemetery
