Dorothy Keefauver

Dorothy Keefauver, 84, Gray, TN died Monday September 12, 2005 in the NHC Healthcare in Johnson City. Mrs. Keefauver was a native of Washington County and had lived most of her life in Gray, TN. She was a daughter of the late David Barnes and Ollie Price Isenberg. Mrs. Keefauver was a homemaker and a former employee of Tennessee Eastman and North Electric. She was a member of the Buffalo Ridge Baptist Church. Mrs. Keefauver is preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Keefauver and her parents. Survivors include: two sons and daughters-in-law, Gary and Leslie Keefauver of Kingsport , David and Linda Keefauver of Huntsville, AL; four grandchildren and their spouses, John Keefauver and Tori Campbell of Denver, CO, David and Jennifer Keefauver of Canton, GA, Bobby and Crysti Keefauver of Huntsville, AL and Jennifer Keefauver of Nashville, TN; four great grandchildren, Jacob and Benjamin Keefauver of Canton, GA and Matthew and Darby Keefauver of Huntsville, AL. The funeral service for Dorothy Keefauver will be conducted at 8:30 PM Wednesday, September 14, 2005 in the Morris-Baker South Chapel. Dr. Gene Lasley will officiate. The graveside service will be conducted at 10 AM Thursday in the Tri-Cities Memory Gardens. Everyone will meet at the cemetery. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The family will receive friends in the funeral chapel from 6:30 to 8:30 PM Wednesday prior to the service.
