Earlene Hilda Isaacs, 84, Johnson City, passed away Thursday, November 20, 2014 in NHC HealthCare. Earlene was a daughter of the late Elbert Jones and Agnes Head Dillinger. She had lived in Johnson City for most of her life. Earlene worked in food service for Johnson City schools for 27 years before her retirement. She was a member of Piney Grove Freewill Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: her husband, Glen A. Isaacs; brother, Lonnie Jones; and sister, Lavonia Yarber. She is survived by: two sons, Tony A. Isaacs, of Fox Island, WA, and Michael S. Isaacs, of Johnson City; one daughter, Glenda E. Isaacs, of Chuckey, TN; and two grandchildren, Emily Isaacs, of Washington, and Jason Isaacs, of Wichita, KS. The family of Earlene Hilda Isaacs will receive friends from 5 pm until 7 pm Monday, November 24, 2014 in the Morris-Baker South Chapel. The funeral service will follow in the South Chapel at 7 pm Monday. Rev. Paul Crowe will officiate. The committal is scheduled for 1 pm Wednesday, November 26, 2014 in Tri-Cities Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be friends from Piney Grove Freewill Baptist Church. Minister, family, and friends are requested to meet at Morris-Baker by 12:15 pm Wednesday to go in procession to the cemetery.
