Edith Ann Miller

Edith 'Edie'? Miller, 52, 1414 American Way, Jonesborough died Friday, December 12, 2008 at her residence. Mrs. Miller was a native of Elk Park, North Carolina who had lived most of her life in Washington County. She is the daughter of Stella King Cook and the late Roby Elliot. In addition to her father her stepfather, Paul Cook and one son, Josh Perry, also preceded her in death. Mrs. Miller recently worked for the Washington County, TN school system, and had worked previously as a registered nurse. She was a member of the Southside Baptist Church. Survivors include: her husband, Paul Miller of the home; two sons, Zachary Perry of Johnson City and Thomas Miller of the home; one daughter, Amanda Perry of Gray; two brothers, James Elliot of Indian Mound, Tenn. and Eugene Elliot of Elk Park, North Carolina; one grandson, Ethan Perry of the home. The funeral service for Edith 'Edie'? Miller will be conducted at 6 PM Friday, December 19, 2008 in the Southside Baptist Church. Rev. John Perkins will officiate. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Thursday at Southside Baptist Church.
