Edith Mae Cretsinger

Edith 'Mae' Cretsinger, 40, of 355 Roy McCoy Road, Crossville, TN died Thursday, May 18, 2006 at her residence. Ms. Cretsinger was a native of Washington County and had lived most of her life in Crossville. She is a daughter of Eugene Cretsinger of Jonesborough and Rosie Johnson of Kingsport. Ms. Cretsinger worked in medical billing and was of the Christian faith. She is preceded in death by her paternal grand parents, Raymond and Roseland Cretsinger , Lilly May Cretsinger and Julian Rodriquez. Survivors other than her parents include: step-mother, Lydia Cretsinger of Jonesborough; three sisters, Julie Keim of North Carolina, Gina Dale and husband Tony of Morristown, Dawn and husband James McCray of Gray; two brothers, David and wife Debbie Day, Steve and wife Michelle Day all of Jonesborough; a special person in her life, Brian Rector; special friends, Jan and Mark Hendrickson and her patients; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. The funeral service for Edith 'Mae' Cretsinger will be conducted at 8 PM Sunday, May 21, 2006 in the Morris-Baker South Chapel. Rev. Bill Taylor will officiate. The graveside service will be conducted at 10 AM Monday in the Monte Vista Memorial Park. Everyone will meet at the funeral chapel at 9:30 AM Monday to go in procession to the cemetery. Active pallbearers will be David Day, Steve Day, Tony Dale, Garnett 'Poncho' Cretsinger, John Rector, Cory Rector, and Mike Rector. The family will receive friends in the funeral chapel from 6 to 8 PM Sunday prior to the service. Friends may also visit at the home of the father, Eugene Cretsinger, 3637 West Walnut Street, Johnson City.
