Edith Marie Johnson

Edith Marie Johnson, 80, of Jonesborough passed away Monday, August 11, 2014 at the Johnson City Medical Center Hospital after a brief illness. She was born in Lerose, KY. and was the daughter of the late Edward Lee Campbell and Leila Garrett Campbell. She was of Lutheran faith. Edith was a loving and dedicated teacher and instructor for many years. She worked at AB & T and the Tennessee Tech Center of Elizabethton before retiring. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by: sisters, Nancy Hodges and Norma Rose Campbell; and infant son, Gary Gene Johnson. Survivors include: sons, Guy and wife Brenda Johnson of Mansfield, TX. , Les and wife Trish Johnson of Gray, TN.; grandchildren, Chris and wife Casey Johnson, Sarah and husband Rodney Cox, Kelly Johnson, Jessica Johnson, Emily Johnson, Abigail Johnson, Adam Johnson, Andrea and husband Mat Suranofsky, Ashley and husband Jeremy Johnson; great grandchildren, Austin Case Cox, Matison Suranofsky, Sophia Suranofsky, Elizabeth Suranofsky and Ava Johnson.
