Ella Mae Dove

Ella Price Dove, 69, of 130 Old Turnpike Road, Jonesborough died Thursday, February 26, 2009 at the Johnson City Medical Center. She was a native of Washington County, daughter of the late Roy S. and Myrtle Lance Price. Ella retired after 30 years at Burlington Industries. She was a member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Johnny Dove in 2000. Survivors include: three daughters, Sandi Bailey, of Telford, Sharon Dove Perry of Johnson City, Sheila Rhodes of Piney Flats; three sisters, Kathy Babb of Johnson City, Linda Humphreys Wiedner of Jonesborough and Mary Tilson of Johnson City; two brothers, Glenn Price and Ray Gene Price both of Jonesborough; three grandchildren, Vinette Bailey Neal, John Paul Dove and Cody Rhodes; four grandchildren, Zelea Bailey Neal, Johnnny Neal, Madison Dove and Charles Dove; several nieces and nephews. A funeral service is scheduled for Saturday, February 28, 2009 at 8:00 p.m. in the North Chapel of the Morris '' Baker Funeral Home under the direction of Rev. Steve Harmon. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until time of service at eight. A committal service will be conducted on Sunday, March 1, 2009 at the Eden Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the cemetery.
