Ellis Daniel Shell

Ellis Daniel Shell, 71, of Johnson City, TN. passed away Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at his home in Johnson City. He was a native of Hampton, TN. and the son of the late Lois King Shell. Ellis was of Baptist faith. In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by: wife, Irene Shell; son, Donnie Shell; brother, Bob Shell; two sisters, Cora Lou Mitchell and Helen Moody. Survivors include: son, Tony Shell of Johnson City, TN.; five grandchildren, Jamie Shell of Johnson City, TN., Toby Shell of Johnson City, TN., Holly Dyals of Johnson City, TN., Bridget Shell of Johnson City, TN. and Lee Ann Shell of Lexington, N.C.; three great-grandchildren, Ayran Lee Shell, Kaylee Ann Shell and Marcus Lee Roberts; and a host of nieces and nephews.
