Floyd L. Johnson

Floyd L. 'Bud'? Johnson, 74, Johnson City, died Sunday, July 19, 2009 at his residence. Mr. Johnson was a native and lifelong resident of Johnson City. He was a son of the late Floyd and Vera Huffine Johnson. Mr. Johnson was retired from the Johnson City Power Board. He was a US Army veteran and a member of the Johnson City Masonic Lodge. Survivors include his wife, Sada Cartwright Johnson, one daughter, Mary Angela McQueen and her husband, Steve, Limestone; one granddaughter, Sarah Rebecca Ward and her husband, Chad, Greeneville; two great grandchildren, Hannah Noelle Ward and Cooper Preston Ward. A funeral service for Mr. Johnson will be conducted at 8 pm Thursday, July 23, 2009 from the Morris-Baker Funeral Home South Chapel. Reverend Nick Bailey will officiate. The Johnson City Masonic Lodge #486 will conduct masonic rites. Military graveside services will be held at 11 am Friday at Mountain Home National Cemetery, Mountain Home, TN. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the funeral home at 10:20 am and travel in procession to the cemetery. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
