Frances B. Edgemon

Mrs. Frances B. Edgemon, 94, 803 W. Locust Street, passed away Thursday August 5, 2010 in the Christian Care Center, Johnson City. Mrs. Edgemon was a native of Wichita Falls, TX. She was the daughter of the late Floyd and Ollie Hendrix Billingsley. In addition to her parents her husband, J. Ross Edgemon; one sister, Ruth Wiley; and one brother, Harry Billingsley, preceded her in death. Mrs. Edgemon was a homemaker and caterer. She was known and loved for her beautiful and delicious anniversary, birthday and wedding cakes made over a period of forty years. Mrs. Edgemon was a member of the Munsey Memorial United Methodist Church, Johnson City. Survivors include: one son, Jim Edgemon of Johnson City; two grandsons, Ross Edgemon of Nashville and Jason Beaty and his wife Karson of Knoxville; three niece's, Nancy Barker of Bristol, VA, Mary Jane Harmony of Englewood, CO, and Martha Gooding of Dallas, TX. A memorial service will be conducted for Mrs. Frances B. Edgemon at a later date at Munsey Memorial United Methodist Church.
